How can I contact BuilderDepot?
If you need help with your order simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, and please include your order number in the subject field of the email. If you need sales help before you place your order please email email@example.com and please include the model number of the item you need help with We will respond within 24-48 business hours..
What happens if I forget my password?
For your convenience, we use the email address you entered when placing the order as your password. For any help send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
A cookie is a small piece of information sent by a web server to store on a web browser, so it can later be read back from that browser. This is useful for having the browser remember specific information. For example, a cookie is used when a browser stores your user IDs. They are also used to store preferences of start pages. Cookies are also used to help websites remember types of products customers like to purchase. Like anything else, a cookie can be used for your benefit and convenience, but also can be used by malicious people to snoop on you.
What payment methods does BuilderDepot accept?
We accept most major payment methods. At times we may suspend certain payments if their fees are too high or their service is not compatible with industry standards.
When is sales tax charged and who is responsible for it?
The sales tax laws for Internet sales are constantly changing. Because we are based in California we collect the sales tax on all shipments going to California. We also have to collect sales tax for any other state that has Internet sales tax, and this list is growing as most states are looking for additional sources of revenue.
What is the process behind Shipping and Delivery?
Once you place your order we process and ship it within 24-48 business hours- unless the product listing indicates a longer period is required to prepare your order for shipment. We do not ship orders on weekends or holidays. We ship using FedEx, UPS, USPS, and common carriers for larger shipments. Special order items take longer to ship so please read the product description carefully. We do not require delivery signature and you are asked to agree to this when you place your order. You will receive your order confirmation immediately after you place your order (assuming that you gave us a valid email address and do not block our emails with your Spam filters). When your order is shipped we send you another email notification with the tracking number. You may use the tracking number to check the status of your shipment with the carrier.
What is BuilderDepot’s return policy?
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we agree to accept the product return within 30 days from the date of the shipping, provided that the product is in re-saleable condition and working order and is still in its original condition with all the original parts (including packaging and directions). Software, CDs, DVDs, electronics, and electrical equipment are not returnable if the box has been opened. Please note that the customer is responsible to return the product at their expense, and we advise that you insure your returned package. Please read our return policy as it has the latest updates
Also there normally is a re-stocking charge, and shipping charges are not refunded with certain exceptions. After 30 days, any product return or issues need to be referred to the manufacturer's warranty, please contact the manufacturer directly. Please read our Return Policy for additional information.
How can the customer track the delivery of their package?
Once your order ships, a shipping confirmation e-mail will be sent to the email address which you provided on your order. Occasionally emails will go to SPAM folders, so please check your folders. The tracking e-mail contains an itemized list of the products purchased, date shipped, the "ship to" address, and the shipment tracking number. Please go to the carrier's web site to track your shipment. APO/FPO customers can track their shipments on USPS: www.usps.com.
