How to Sell at BuilderDepot

No setup fees. No ongoing fees. No contract. No gimmicks. You set our cost, we markup and sell, you help us with the fulfillment. We can sell by the truck load, pallet, case, six-pack, or one item at a time.
BuilderDepot provides an excellent platform to connect you with your customers and to expand your market reach. Our goal is to help you shorten the selling cycle and grow your business, while providing our customers with the largest selection of products.
To start selling your products, just go to the Merchant Services department online and complete a one-page application to open an account (this is not a contract). There are NO setup or membership fees. You establish BuilderDepot's cost and provide a suggested benchmark- selling price for BuilderDepot to reference. Whether you elect to drop ship, or utilize your existing distribution network, BuilderDepot will adjust its markup to make sure you and your dealers will be happy working with BuilderDepot.
Once we receive your application online, we process the application and create your new account and email you your log in information and the next steps. you send us your product information, two photos per product, suggested selling price, the BuilderDepot cost, and shipping information. We do not accept printed material. All submissions must be in digital form (email, Web Services, EDI, XML, FTP, or CD/disk), and Internet-ready.
Once a customer places an order, the BuilderDepot system transmits the order to you (email, Web Services, EDI, XML, or FTP). Once you ship the order and transmit the tracking # to BuilderDepot, we notify the customer that the order has shipped. You provide the tracking # and invoice us and we pay you.
When a customer returns a product, the BuilderDepot system transmits the RMA to you (email, Web Services, EDI, XML, or FTP) for approval. If approved by you, the customer then returns the product to you. You credit BuilderDepot, and then BuilderDepot credits the customer.
