The 1198 family features DELTA's armor headlight-protecting steel crossbars that reinforce the lens from off-road rough housing. The prismatic glass lens does not oxidize, become hazy, or accumulate film like plastic lenses. The added lead enhances glass strength, while the prismatic lens provides superior photometric light distribution. The four-time finished vacuum metalized steel reflectors improve reflection by 4 to 1 compared to stock. The LED assembly is protected by a high-density silicone rubber boot with venting to guard against dirt and moisture.

The high-power LED units are dual function Hi Lo Beam, producing 8,000 lumens of light power at a 6,000 kelvin color temperature. They are rated for 22,000 operating hours at 25 watts with only a 2-amp draw.
