Designed and developed in the USA, DV8 Offroad has produced a high quality skid plate compatible with 20-22 Jeep Wrangler JL 3.0L Diesel models. Designed to protect your DEF and muffler from the abuses of the trail and highways for your, the SPJL-05D is constructed from plated steel, that is precision cut and machine bent to exact specifications, then protected in a multi stage powder coat process including additives for corrosion and UV fading. Internally the skid plate offers a reinforced impact tube for additional strength as well as a heat barrier between the muffler and DEF tank protecting the DEF tank from excessive heat. There are also strategic cut outs keeping airflow circulating but deflecting road debris.
