Over 100 years old the obverse of the Liberty Nickel was designed by Charles E. Barber and features a profile of Lady Liberty surrounded by stars. The Liberty Nickel was minted from 1883 to 1912. The Liberty Nickel is the only nickel to feature a female on the obverse design. The obverse of the nickel shines in the wood-grain handle. The knife blade is 3" long.
